The Awakening by Kate Chopin

Saturday, March 10, 2018

We honor Women’s History Month by visiting this landmark work of early feminism. Kate Chopin’s novel shocked her turn-of-the-century readers with a frank portrayal of female marital discontent set in the American South. DePaul University’s Dr. Jennifer Conary will lead the discussion. Refreshments will be served.

Book available in the Museum Store.
