CSO Chamber Music: A Tale of Today: Materialities

Musicians from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra will present three captivating works in celebration of our exhibition, A Tale of Today: Materialities. The event begins with a brief introduction to the exhibition by its guest curator, Dr. Giovanni Aloi, and is followed by works by George Chadwick, Philip Glass, and Beethoven. The ticket includes admission to the Museum during the Museum’s public hours.

Phillip Glass: Quartet Satz. (~8”)

A very contemporary and unique string quartet that was composed for the Kronos Quartet. More information on this work can be found here: Kronos | Philip Glass

Beethoven: Flute Serenade (for flute, violin, viola). (~18’)
