Rebecca Cameron completed her doctorate at the University of Toronto in Canada, and her teaching and research interests are modern drama, early 20th-century British literature including European children’s literature. She has published articles on 20th-century British drama on such subjects as suffrage drama, women’s drama of the interwar period, the reception of Noel Coward, and the function of games in modern dramatic works. She also participated in the development of an extensive, collaboratively authored digital resource, Orlanda: Women’s Writing in the British Isles from the Beginnings to the Present, published by Cambridge University Press. Professor Cameron regularly teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in modern British literature, drama, and Virginia Woolf. As Distinguished Faculty in the Honors Program, she also teaches Honors courses in World Literature and Interdisciplinary Arts (Experimental Modernism). She enjoys working with students of all ages and she has served as director for a range of student projects.
