Tenth Anniversary Celebration!

In celebration of its milestone tenth anniversary, The Richard H. Driehaus Museum will reduce regular priced adult admission to $10, from $20, for the weekend of June 8. In addition to the reduced admission, a day of festivities has been planned for Saturday, June 9. Museum Members will receive expedited entry on June 9 as long as their membership card is present.

Throughout the day there will be an array of activities including:

  • Vintage cars parked outside the Museum and available for photo opportunities
  • Antique 1890s High-wheel bicycle display (better-known as the Penny Farthing) outside Museum
  • Access to the Billiards Room, usually closed to the public
  • A display of never-before-seen Mansion artifacts will be on view.


Schedule of Events

10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Ragtime Concert on the Front Porch
11 a.m. Commemorative Remarks on the Front Porch
12 p.m. A living history experience with one of the Mansion’s “servants” in the Dining Room
1 p.m. Cake Bites in the Ballroom
2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Brass Quartet on the Front Porch
3 p.m. - 4 p.m. Family-friendly Magic Show in the Ballroom

Please note that in exchange for your attendence, you have authorized the Driehaus Museum to photograph, record, film, videotape, or otherwise use your likeness, performance, image, and/or voice for use in general and/or program-related Driehaus Museum promotional materials. If for any reason, you do not wish to be photographed, please provide your name(s) at check-in on the day of the event.
